Spicy Asian Chicken Salad Wraps

Quick and easy way to use lettuce that is not a salad.

Spicy Asian Chicken Salad Wraps




  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 teaspoons Chinese chile-garlic sauce (sambal oelek)

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 2-pound rotisserie chicken

  • 1/3 cup coarsley chopped water chestnuts

  • 2 thinly sliced scallions

  • Salt and Pepper

  • 12 Bibb or iceberg lettuce leaves

  • 1 Hass avocado

  • 2 Lime


  1. Pull meat from the chicken and cut into bite sized pieces

  2. In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the chile-garlic sauce , mustard and sesame oil.

  3. Stir in the chicken, water chestnuts and scallions.

  4. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Spoon the chicken salad into the lettuce cups and top with a slice of avocado.

  6. Serve with lime wedges.
