2 cups beet thins;
2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
1/4 cup lemon juice;
1 chopped green onion;
1/2 teaspoon Dill;
Salt to taste.
Wash beets thins;
Heat oil in a heavy pan with a tight fitting lid over medium heat;
Saute onions until they are translucent, about 5 minutes;
Add lemon juice, herbs, and beets, place lid on pan to steam the beets;
Check after 5 minutes, adding a small amount of water if necessary to prevent burning.
Cook until beets are fork tender.
Serve hot and enjoy;
